HotBOBA!

Over spring break, I visited 85 Degrees Bakery twice. Although I am, sadly, not a big fan of their pastries or cakes anymore [their breads seem to have a bit too much oil], I have discovered that there's still a reason for me to frequent the popular bakery.

That reason is... HOT BOBA.

AH, how can I describe it well enough? The boba squishes between my molars, maintaining its chewiness despite the perfectly heated temperature of the milk tea. The smooth consistency of the drink flows down my throat like sweet honey, and the heat from the elegant paper cup gently radiates, warming my palms.

Even in this lukewarm spring weather, hot boba is a perfect drink for these cool nights. The warm tea relaxes you while the caffeine and chewy boba refresh and energize you just enough for you to open your eyes and ears to take in bustling, buzzing April nights.

AHHHH Shannon! Why did you just write that? You just gave me this crazy urge to visit 85 Degrees. I LOVE hot boba...but I've never tried it at 85 Degrees. The only place I've tried it was at "O'Shine Cafe" (O-Xiang Cafe) which has already been replaced by that Korean BBQ place. It was really good!

Darn it, why do you have to write so well?! It feels like I'm already drinking it, which doesn't make sense because I want to drink it?
